The Q-sort function uses market condition inputs to calculate the optimal marginal gain of a pen of cattle based on genetic growth models. Reduce overfeeding and underfeeding and sell a pen when it is most profitable.
Features include calculations for Canada and US markets, sorting options, and feeding of ractopamine. Genotype proportions are automatically included when the pen is selected. You can save results and email to those coordinating feeding and trucking.
Results are displayed in graph format and table format allowing you to see how days on feed are impacting profitability of the pen.
Q-protect for sclerotinia helps farmers know if and when to spray. The Q-protect function allows users to view test results and compare cost of potential yield loss from disease to cost of spraying. You can also compare test results to the disease risk barometer.
Users are immediately notified when results for fields are available. Maps of sclerotinia results from previous years can also be viewed.
